Manuel Pellegrini, the Chilean professional football team manager who is now managing the Premier League team, West Ham United says that he is enjoying the bond between him and the Claret and Blue Army.
The team continues to move ahead in the Premier League table and is up to the ninth notch after their fourth consecutive wins on Saturday at Fulham with a 2-0 score. Pellegrini, who is eyeing European qualification, is being supported by the fans after the success of Hammers and his name was sung at Craven Cottage. Pellegrini says that be it Villarreal, Malaga, Manchester City and present West Ham United, he always had a nice relationship with the fans and is happy that the team’s effort in noted. The team at first lost four opening matches while adjusting to their new manager and his methods but then came out as stronger than ever by just losing three out of thirteen matches and securing 24 points in the process. He also enjoys a good support of his players which is evident from West Ham’s attacking players dominating the headlines the previous weeks and defenders standing firm on Saturday. The goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski came out well with a number of super saves and center-backs Fabian Balbuena and Issa Diop supported the Hammers maximum in the consecutive wins. According to Pellegrini, they both are significant players and leading players and have to improve and know what Premier League is. He says that Diop is a young international player while Balbuena is adapted to Pellegrini’s ways as he already has played for one of the biggest teams in Brazil.
He also says that he is happy with both of them but mainly is happy with the team as they have climbed to their
present position in the table from a tough state.
